HTML doesn't seem to work anymore?
Hello,
just wanted to reply to a post, but after hitting "Quote" the html-marking isn't shown anymore (it used to be shown).
Alright, went into Preferences, and set "Always allow HTML"
to Yes, also logged out. But doesn't help.
Below those (defective) emoticons, one can see
"HTML is OFF".
So the settings in preferences are not respeced.
While it says "BBCode is ON", where I have disabled that (don't know what that is, but it sounds like "BBC").

Hi "Sprinter"!
As you can see, I've "quoted" your post and it appears in a "reply" box as normal. Glad someone else has "woken up" to do some posting - I think "cottmiler" gave up in disgust at the lack of response by others - so I added a few posts to fill the "gap". Some bods are around to browse the forum, judging by the increasing "views" number for recent posts - but apparently not inclined to become members and put in posts themselves! Where have the old members gone to?

Re: HTML doesn't seem to work anymore?
I didn't mean the appearance, but the underlying code. Most people are likely unaware of the underlying code, but I want to see the underlying reality. Now by clicking on all buttons I found out that at least for my browser clicking on the very last button "Switch Editor Mode" switches to the mode where you can see the code (and not "what you see is what you get"). So that's alright.
