Chloe made the Olympic team in the pool and open water and is worth watching/listening to I reckon.

How is this drill very different from the broken arrow? Her drilling looks nice but her swimming doesn't look like the drill (nor the broken arrow). also pauls swimming does not look like the broken arrow drill. I'd like to understand how this helps.

With the "sailboat", from my perspective (for my swimming) I learn three things:
- maintain good body position through hard kicking (doing the drill without fins)
- naturally the arm entry will be quick and precise (no delay!)
- learning to avoid late breathing.

What you (potentially) gain from the "broken arrow" is different (see discussions above).

Your question about "her swimming doesn't look like that" has different answers: Cottmiller would say, that the drills isolate certain aspects. I would indeed say, that this is a partially valid criticism, and wouldn't do any drill without concrete motivation (the drill must answer concrete problems).
