Der Gleitwahn im Schwimmsport:
in short
clips shown at a 1.30min-100m pace prove nothing about a swim style, because you can swim any stroke at that pace. (clip2)

Re: Der Gleitwahn im Schwimmsport:
I liked the below video for DPS development and timing of the stroke:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4H9EhkzpIyQ
I have already been doing the drills starting to shown at 3:10 and 5:10 in the video, very beneficial drills.
I think Cotty and Salvo will also like them

Die videos von SA sind alles auf Deutsch und haben kein Schwimmen.
Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut aber ich habe der Video von NC studiert. Vielen Dank.

In the first drill (at 3:10), what's the purpose of turning the hand inward during recovery?

My German's very rusty. I only watched video 2 so far. What I learned is if you have a good kick you can hold 1:30/100m even if you don't have arms.

The drill at 5:10 is what Cottie calls "reverse catch-up", isn't it? It's really like the UNCO drill, except you breathe to the stroking side and alternate sides.
I will try this drill. I normally do one similar, but with the non-stroking arm extended at the front (i.e. a traditional catch-up, breathing every stroke).

Hahaha, and we are talking German like that:
"Her hausen dibayn der"
Her havuzun dibi aynıdır (it is in Turkish - means that all pools have a same deep)

In the first drill the goal is minimizing the SPL and controlling the recovering arm and focusing on correct high elbow recovery, for a good high elbow recovery, and also rotation which provides less SPL, the palm should look at the body during recovery. I can perform 5-6 SPL while doing this drill, really works.
The 2nd drill is called "reverse catchup with one arm breathing from the recovering side".
It provides better control of the recovering arm and also better focus on catch and pull while catching up the arms at knees, also it teaches you the proper rotation.
