Shoulder Throw drill
This is a new one to me and reminded me of “catch and throw” drill which is described in another thread.
I haven,t tried shoulder throw yet - tomorrow.

Re: Shoulder Throw drill
Had a go today and it certainly improves the timing of the recovery for me.
Body movements for sport need a starting trigger and this seems to be the right one for this action.
It removes wasted time flapping the arm in the air.

Re: Shoulder Throw drill
You clearly have a powerful efficient stroke.
It,s interesting that you minimise body roll and your feet seem to do a good job keeping the legs up.
I am finding that I am needing more body roll in order to keep better balance in the water with the legs higher, as per Total Immersion.
Anyhow, you swim very well and I just talk about swimming.
